hour of music. Scott Walker's voice is a revelation with a depth and vibrancy that brings
exquisite vocal colour to all the recordings on this album. The Walker brothers tracks were
purely commercial heartbreak recordings (not unlike Westlife) with an annoying muffled
sound on some tracks. This,in it's day, made for a new ( Phil Spectorish) sound. The jury
is out on that one. ****.
