Not one of Andrea's best recordings. Ol man river was really an incorrect choice . Cheek to cheek is a crooner's song not ever....an operatic choice and I have to admit that many of the songs range from strange vocal heights that I don;t understand. That said, there are many gems on this album so 4 stars will suffice on this occasion.****.

Jamie Lawson has an unusual voice , light and breaking , which holds power and emotion for the big hit " Wasn't expecting that". Immaculately recorded and beautifully vocalised it is a standout on this his first album. So good that it overshadows the rest of the tracks and Mr Lawson never has to find another powerful performance with the rest of his songs. The album is not expensive(£8) and that voice is very attractive. ****.
