Much changed version from the Tommy Steel musical of 60 years ago. It has been updated...
or is that downdated.....with extra songs and lyric changes to the original songs. It has
been cleverly altered although the older songs seem to stand out against the newer ones.
Charlie Stemp gives a good account of himself as Kipps and his personality comes over
very well.    This album was recorded live and contains about 10 minutes of applause. A
little waste of space but I suppose it does add atmosphere and I have to admit it does
sound very good for a live performance. ****.
