A very concise 4 album collection of Dionne's early hits plus many extras. "Heartbreaker"
is missing from the set and that was via Tudno's playlist. Extraordinary quality singer
sometimes soul, sometimes excellent commercial singing but always extremely
listenable and the Bacharach backings are a great asset.*********.

American choice of the best music around is not as good as it should be. Very similar
sounding music with a lot of power ballads. "Happy" changes the mood and it is
a welcome relief.....however Mathis's voice is in good form often with a backing choir
to add some vocal power and remembering how old Mr Mathis is I can't complain
but I can see why this album has not been publicised  in the usual way.  Mathis
fans need not worry.*******.
