SUPERSTAR 2...LOOKING FOR JESUS.

As Andrew Lloyd Webber's Superstar show has ground it's way for the last couple of weeks
the weaknesses and unoriginal  format have become obvious.  On the BBC every Saturday with
Graham Norton as host and with no Adds, it was entertaining and often amusing. On ITV and
crushed into an every night format ( Olympics looming) it has become boring. The production
and contestants are all of a high standard but reality shows are beginning to have nothing new
to offer except the wannabes out to impress the voting viewers.  When they are all good it doesn't
matter who gets the prize. The only missing part was Jedward. They could have been Jesus twins.
It is a ridiculous comment but sadly quite near the truth. We like to see good and bad on reality
television. There is no place for only high standard performers on Reality Television. Is this the
beginning of the end for this type of show. The ratings seem to suggest that Simon Cowell will
have to re-think the format of future shows !!
