This is the new and exciting Tony nominated Broadway show featuring Josh Groban.
I believe it is a fascinating production that includes the audience which covers the second
part of Tolstoy's War and Peace. However wonderful it appears to people who have seen it
as a Musical CD it certainly falls short. Singing/Speaking/acting most of the time leaving
little chance for any 'songs' so to speak. Is this the NEW musical trend ?  Has HAMILTON
encouraged the concept of no beautiful melodies and no lightweight comedy songs. Where
have all the flowers gone ? This one is rather a bare garden slightly enhanced by the singing
of Josh Groban.   The Les Mis and Phantom days may be soon over. *****.
