I believe this album downloaded from the internet is in Mono and indeed, could
have been carefully recorded from a vinyl album....that is not to say the
reproduction is poor but it certainly is not Stereo as it was originally.
That said the album is interesting as it was the first time the Beatles songs were
covered in easy-listening style. Some tracks work very well while others turn
out to be sing-a longy however Keely Smith has a bluesy jazzy voice and although
she has to fight the backings occasionally the result is a fresh look. Hated by
Beatle affectionos it is now a cult recording for the oldies to collect.
