A lot of country chart hits are included  as well as good standard vocalizing and curious novelty hits. A bargain for the price and for Patti Page fans perhaps some missed releases from the days of singles.

The last new Buble album released in Britain. I gave this four stars last time I reviewed it and have not altered my opinion since. It has standout gems amongst the choices for the album but generally it seemed a rag-bag of some unusual Buble material that simply wasn't as good as previous selections.
His Christmas album still stands tall reaching the British charts for the third time.

Very atmospheric album of songs written for film Polar Express and well known Christmas classics also used in the film with such favourites as Crosby,Como and Sinatra. A treat.
HAPPY HOLIDAYS...JO STAFFORD...CORINTHIAN.. tracks played....Jingle bells/Winter wonderland,Let it snow. Nostalgic early fifties album beautifully sung by Miss Stafford and having that dated but warm Christmas feeling. Difficult to get hold of but worth the effort.
MEL TORME. CHRISTMAS SONGS...TELARC.  tracks played...Glow worm,Happy Holiday/Let's start the new year right/What are doing Christmas Eve..   Slightly Jazzy, very sophisticated,warm vocals from one of the greatest singers. 16 tracks.Good value.
ELLA FITZGERALD. A SWINGING CHRISTMAS.VERVE...tracks played....The secret of Christmas.Let it snow.   Another sophisticated slightly jazzy selection of swinging and peaceful Christmas music. Exceptional vocals from Ella , here at her best. Put this on and sit back with a glass of something festive in your hand.
ANDREA BOCELLI. MY CHRISTMAS...UNIVERSAL..Tracks played...Santa Clause is coming to town, God bless us everyone.   Without a doubt the classical choice for Christmas with some beautiful vocals from Bocelli.
